"USAPAC is a newly formed, national advocacy organization committed to working collaboratively with Congress, the Administration, and the Armenian-American community on an agenda that secures ever closer relations between the U.S., Armenia, and Nagorno-Karabakh founded upon shared values and mutual benefit"

The U.S.-Armenia Public Affairs Committee (USAPAC) and three associated entities were recently established in Washington, DC, by a group of Armenian-American activists to serve collectively as the platform of a new Armenian-American advocacy organization dedicated to promoting and defending Armenian-American interests.

USAPAC's founders are conviced of the necessity to add a new and independent Armenian-American voice to our nation's capital. Our intent is to augment the capable and growing activism within the Armenian-American community.  USAPAC supports an agenda that espouses security, prosperity, democracy, rule of law and market reform for the peoples of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh and deepens mutually beneficial U.S.-Armenia and U.S.-Karabakh relations.

By placing a strong emphasis on educating Armenian-Americans on issues and political candidates as well as political fundraising and grassroots activism, USAPAC not only plans to achieve these objectives but also intends to further elevate the political profile of the community. Our organization is eager to expand this effort with like-minded colleagues nationwide into a powerful and effective addition to the Armenian-American lobby.

In brief, we have integrated the best elements of four types of public-policy friendly entities into a powerful matrix of linked organizations that together takes full advantage of all advocacy and electioneering laws and regulations. The strength of our approach is that every conceivable tactic to promote our views and directly support our friends will be at our disposal.

USAPAC's affiliated entitites will include the Council on U.S.-Armenia Relations, a tax-exempt educational and advocacy charity, the U.S.-Armenia Political Action Committee, an electioneering entity, and the Committee on U.S.-Armenia Issues, a voter education group. The four entities will function as a powerful matrix serving to expand the breadth and reach of Armenian-Americans' political influence.
